ICMR-Dr. Prem Nath Wahi Award 2021
Instituted in 1990 by late Dr. P. N. Wahi, former Director-General, ICMR and later augmented by his children. ICMR has contributed towards the enhancement of the award amount.
Criteria- The work carried out over a period of time should contribute towards the understanding of the basic research related to the prevention/cure of cancer.
Award will be given for the years: 2021, 2023, 2025, 2027, 2029, 2031
Eligibility
It is an award for significant contributions made by a scientist in the field of Basic and/or Clinical Cytology and/or Preventive Oncology.
