ICMR-Dr. M. O. T. Iyengar Memorial Award 2021
Instituted in 1983 by Mrs. Rukmani Iyengar in memory of her husband Dr. M. O. T. Iyengar, an Entomologist and Malariologist. ICMR has contributed towards the enhancement of the award amount.
Criteria The work carried out over a period of time should significantly contribute towards the understanding of the causation and management of Malaria, Filariasis, Plague or Medical Entomology.
Award will be given for the years: 2021, 2023, 2025, 2027, 2029, 2031
Eligibility
It is an award to honour a scientist for carrying out research in the fields of Malaria, Filariasis, Plague or Medical Entomology.
