ICMR-Smt. Kamal Satbir Award 2021
Instituted in 1987, by Commodore Satbir, AVSM, I.N. (Retd.) in memory of his wife. ICMR has contributed towards the enhancement of the award amount.
Criteria- The work to be assessed would be the research carried out in India in the field of non-tuberculous Chest Diseases and published in scientific journals during the five years preceding the year for which the award is advertised.
Category- Age below 40 years.
Eligibility
It is an award offered to individuals for outstanding contributions in the field of non-tuberculous Chest Diseases, especially Respiratory Allergy and Chronic Obstructive Lung Diseases, pertaining to mechanism and causation of the diseases, their prevention and/ or management.
