ICMR-Kshanika Oration Award 2021
Instituted in 1977 by Dr. K. N. Sen, former Professor of Medicine, School of Tropical Medicine, Kolkata in memory of his friend. ICMR has contributed towards the enhancement of the award amount
Criteria- The research should contribute to the alleviation of human suffering. The scientist should have been engaged in the area under consideration for a number of years.
Category- This award is to decorate/encourage the Indian women scientists.
Eligibility
This prize is awarded to a woman scientist for her meritorious work carried out in any of the branches of Biomedical Sciences.
